Religion and Politics what the difference in Obama and Huckabee?

April 26th, 2010 | by admin |

You say in the Post Obama having religion is fine,it has nothing
to do with him being president.
You say in the Post Huckabee having religion is wrong?and will hurt him being President..
what the differnce,
Huckabee will salute the Flag
Obama refuses to salute the flag.
Are we being fair to both men? Both men with man boobs?! Check this site out, they need it :) ehowtogetridofmanboobs.com

I’ll tell you one thing…anyone who won’t pledge allegiance to our flag ,and refuses to wear the American flag lapel pin which all the other candidates wear shouldn’t even be in the race for President of the United States. Has America gone mad ???

As an Obama supporter, I agree with you.

Both candidates allow their faith to come into their politics more than the others.

The difference is – Barack Obama actually climbed the ladder in POLITICS… not the church.

Secondly, Huckabee leaves out the parts about all the state money he funneled into his privatized church programs from Medicaid.

Barack Obama is the kind of Christian who focuses on the "Christ" aspect… equality, love, healthcare and forgiveness.

It’s anybody’s guess what Huckabee is getting out of his religion.

Obama wrote a whole book about it.

To be fair – Huckabee did mention that his support of illegals was a "morally right" action and I agree with him on that. (But that’s not a very popular stance in America right now…)

I will not vote for Obama because he does not respect our Country’s values. ie: Saluting our Flag etc.

Religion is ones personal guide/belief. It should not be included in running a Country because everyone’s beliefs are different. God is whom we should Trust individually. If you take Religion and try to bestoe it upon the people of the Nation, then there will be major conflicts of interest. Not that there’s not already.

In order for Obama to gain any votes he must renounce his Muslim upbringing and former faith. He is now….supposedly….a Christian being a member of an all black church with no whites allowed. This church is primarily for Africa and not so for the USA. Huckabee is a pastor and he sounds like one when he is giving a speech. He will gain many votes from the Born Again Christians but many will stay away from him because they do not wish to take the chance of mixing religion with politics.
